5. Operation
5.1 Focus Control
The lens features a mechanical focus ring with a 200-degree rotation angle for precise manual focusing. Rotate the focus ring to adjust the focal point. The distance markings on the barrel provide clear indications.
5.2 Zoom Control
The zoom ring allows for smooth and consistent focal length changes from 18mm to 55mm. The design minimizes focus shifts during zooming, maintaining image integrity.
5.3 Iris (Aperture) Control
Adjust the iris ring to control the aperture, which affects the depth of field and exposure. The seamless iris design ensures smooth transitions without audible clicks, ideal for video recording.
5.4 Macro Function
For close-up shots, engage the macro function. Refer to the lens barrel for the macro switch or ring, which allows for closer minimum focusing distances.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning the Lens
Use a soft, lint-free cloth, preferably a microfiber lens cloth, to gently wipe dust and smudges from the lens elements. For stubborn marks, use a specialized lens cleaning solution applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens. Avoid touching the glass surfaces with your fingers.

6.2 Storage
When not in use, store the lens with both front and rear caps attached in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Consider using a dehumidified storage cabinet to prevent mold growth, especially in humid environments.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
