Instruction Manual

Introduction

This manual provides essential information for the correct installation, operation, and maintenance of your Parkside PNTS 1300 C3 Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner Dust Bags. Please read these instructions carefully before use to ensure optimal performance and safety.

These 20-liter paper filter bags are specifically designed for use with Parkside PNTS wet and dry vacuum cleaners, including model PNTS 1300 C3. They are constructed from high-quality, tear-resistant paper to effectively capture dust and debris.

Safety Information

Always follow the safety guidelines provided with your Parkside wet and dry vacuum cleaner. These dust bags are designed for dry vacuuming applications only. Do not use these paper bags for wet vacuuming, as this can damage the bag and the vacuum cleaner.

  • Ensure the vacuum cleaner is unplugged from the power supply before installing or replacing dust bags.
  • Do not attempt to vacuum hazardous materials, hot ashes, or sharp objects that could puncture the bag.
  • Replace the dust bag when it is full to maintain vacuum performance and prevent damage to the motor.
  • Keep packaging materials away from children to prevent suffocation hazards.

Your package should contain the following items:

Setup: Installing the Dust Bag

  1. Prepare the Vacuum Cleaner: Ensure your Parkside wet and dry vacuum cleaner is unplugged from the power outlet. Open the vacuum cleaner housing according to its specific instructions to access the internal drum.
  2. Remove Old Bag (if applicable): If an old dust bag is present, carefully remove it. Dispose of the full bag responsibly.
  3. Insert New Dust Bag: Take one new Parkside 20L paper filter bag. Locate the cardboard collar with the opening. Align this opening with the vacuum cleaner's suction inlet inside the drum.
  4. Secure the Bag: Push the cardboard collar firmly onto the suction inlet until it is securely seated. Ensure the bag unfolds properly inside the drum without obstructing the lid closure.

Operating with Dust Bags

Once the dust bag is correctly installed and the vacuum cleaner housing is closed and secured, you can begin dry vacuuming. The paper filter bag is designed to collect dry debris, dust, and fine particles, preventing them from reaching the motor and maintaining air quality.

These bags are versatile and suitable for various dry cleaning tasks, from workshop debris to household dust.

Maintenance: Replacing the Dust Bag

For optimal vacuum performance and to prevent strain on the motor, it is crucial to replace the dust bag regularly. Replace the bag when it is full, or when you notice a significant decrease in suction power.

  1. Power Off and Unplug: Always turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner before performing any maintenance.
  2. Open Housing: Open the vacuum cleaner housing.
  3. Remove Full Bag: Carefully detach the full dust bag from the suction inlet. The bags are designed with high tear resistance to minimize the risk of tearing during removal.
  4. Dispose: Seal the opening of the full bag (if applicable) and dispose of it according to local waste disposal regulations.
  5. Install New Bag: Follow the "Setup: Installing the Dust Bag" instructions to insert a new bag.
