  • Cleaning: Gently wipe down devices with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Firmware Updates: Periodically check the iSmartAlarm app for available firmware updates for your devices. Updates often include performance improvements and new features.
  • Network Stability: Ensure your home Wi-Fi network is stable and provides adequate signal strength to all devices for reliable communication.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your iSmartAlarm system, consider the following common solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Sensors not connecting or showing low battery initially.Initial power-up or temporary communication delay.Allow up to 30 minutes for sensors to fully register and update battery status in the app. Ensure they are within range of the CubeOne™.
Camera motion detection is inconsistent.Incorrect sensitivity settings, environmental factors (e.g., direct sunlight, heat sources), or placement issues.Adjust motion sensitivity in the app. Reposition the camera to avoid direct light or heat sources. Ensure clear line of sight to the monitored area.
False alarms.Sensor sensitivity too high, pets, or environmental disturbances.Reduce sensor sensitivity in the app. Consider pet-immune motion sensors if pets are triggering alarms. Check for loose doors/windows.
System unresponsive or app issues.Temporary network issue, app glitch, or CubeOne™ connectivity problem.Restart the iSmartAlarm app. Check your internet connection. Power cycle the CubeOne™ (unplug and plug back in). Ensure the app and device firmware are up to date.
No notifications received.Incorrect notification settings, app permissions, or network issues.Verify notification settings in the iSmartAlarm app. Check your phone's notification permissions for the app. Ensure stable internet connection.
