Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:

- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).

- Power/Function Knob: Controls power ON/OFF and selects fan-only or heat settings.

Operating Your Fan Heater
Power and Function Settings
The Pelonis HF-1008B features a multi-position power/function knob.
- OFF (O): Turns the heater off.
- FAN ONLY (Fan Icon): Activates the fan without heat, providing air circulation.
- LOW HEAT (I): Provides low heat output.
- HIGH HEAT (II): Provides high heat output.
Thermostat Control
The thermostat control knob allows you to set your desired room temperature.
- Turn the Power/Function knob to either LOW HEAT (I) or HIGH HEAT (II).
- Turn the Thermostat Control knob clockwise to the maximum setting (HI).
- Once the room reaches your desired temperature, slowly turn the Thermostat Control knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click. The heater will turn off.
- The heater will now cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
Safety Features
- Tip-Over Switch: The heater will automatically shut off if it is accidentally tipped over. To resume operation, place the heater upright on a firm, level surface.
- Overheat Protection: The heater is equipped with an automatic overheat protection device. If the heater overheats, it will automatically shut off. To reset, unplug the heater from the electrical outlet, wait 30 minutes for the unit to cool down, then plug it back in.
Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
Always unplug the heater before cleaning.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater.
- Do not use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the heater. This may cause damage or deterioration to the surface.
