Setup Instructions
Your ZINUS mattress is expertly compressed and rolled into one box for convenient shipping and handling. Follow these steps to set up your new mattress:
- Bring to Bedroom: Carefully transport the boxed mattress to the desired room before opening.
- Unbox: Open the box and remove the rolled mattress. Avoid using sharp objects that could damage the mattress.
- Unroll: Place the rolled mattress on your bed frame or foundation. Unroll the compressed mattress.
- Cut Plastic: Carefully cut one side of the clear plastic wrapping. The mattress will begin to decompress.
- Remove Plastic: Pull away the remaining clear plastic wrapper.
- Allow to Expand: Allow 24 to 72 hours for your mattress to fully regain its shape. Expansion time may vary based on room temperature. Warmer rooms generally allow for faster expansion.
You may sleep on the mattress during the decompression period; this will not affect the recovery process.
