2. Important Safety Instructions

5. Setup
5.1 Charging Dock Placement
Place the charging dock on a hard, level surface against a wall. Ensure there is at least 1 meter (3 feet) of clear space on both sides of the dock and 2 meters (6 feet) in front of it to allow the robot to return for charging easily. Connect the power adapter to the charging dock and plug it into a wall outlet.

5.2 Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the robot. Place the robot manually onto the charging dock, ensuring the charging contacts align. The indicator light on the robot will show charging status. A full charge typically takes 4-5 hours.
5.3 Attaching Side Brushes
Snap the side brushes onto the posts on the bottom of the robot. Ensure they are securely attached.
5.4 App Connection (Optional)
Download the 'Fmart Smart' app from your smartphone's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot vacuum to your home Wi-Fi network. This enables advanced features like scheduling, remote control, and voice assistant integration (Google Home, Amazon Alexa).
6. Operating the Robot Vacuum
6.1 Powering On/Off
Press and hold the power button on the robot or remote control to turn the robot on or off.

6.3 Using the Water Tank (Mopping Function)
Fill the water tank with clean water. Attach a clean mop cloth to the tank. Slide the filled water tank into the designated slot on the robot's underside. The robot will then vacuum and mop simultaneously. Do not use the mopping function on carpets.
6.4 Automatic Recharging
When the battery level is low, the robot will automatically return to its charging dock. Ensure the charging dock is accessible and powered on.

7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance of your robot vacuum.
7.1 Emptying the Dust Bin
Open the top cover of the robot and remove the dust bin. Open the dust bin cover and empty its contents into a trash can. It is recommended to empty the dust bin after each cleaning cycle.
7.2 Cleaning Filters
Remove the filters from the dust bin. Tap them gently to remove loose dirt. The HEPA filter is not washable; replace it every 3-6 months. The primary filter can be rinsed with water and air-dried completely before reinstallation.
7.3 Cleaning Side Brushes
Periodically check the side brushes for tangled hair or debris. Remove any obstructions and clean the brushes. Replace worn or damaged brushes.
7.4 Cleaning Sensors
Wipe the cliff sensors and anti-collision sensors on the robot's underside and front bumper with a clean, dry cloth. Keep them free of dust and debris for proper navigation.
7.5 Cleaning the Water Tank and Mop Cloth
After each mopping session, empty any remaining water from the tank. Remove and wash the mop cloth. Allow both to air dry completely before storing or reusing.
