2. Setup
2.1 Power Connection
- The Micro Drummer requires a standard 9V DC power adapter (center negative). This adapter is not included with the pedal.
- Connect the power adapter to the 'DC IN' jack located at the top of the pedal.
- Ensure the power supply meets the specified voltage and polarity requirements to prevent damage to the unit.
2.2 Audio Connections
- Connect your instrument (e.g., guitar) to the 'INPUT' jack on the right side of the pedal using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.
- Connect the 'OUTPUT' jack on the left side of the pedal to your amplifier or the next pedal in your signal chain using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Controls Overview
- VOLUME Knob: Adjusts the overall output level of the drum patterns.
- TONE Knob: Adjusts the tonal characteristics of the drum sound.
- SPEED Knob: Adjusts the tempo (speed) of the selected drum pattern.
- Large Rotary Knob: Used to select drum genres and patterns. Pressing this knob allows you to switch between genre selection mode and pattern variation selection mode.
- TAP Footswitch: Used for Tap Tempo functionality.
- Main Footswitch: Engages or bypasses the drum machine.

3.2 Selecting Drum Patterns
- The Micro Drummer features 11 genres of drum patterns, totaling 121 drum beats.
- To select a genre, rotate the large rotary knob. The illuminated LED indicators around the knob correspond to different genres (e.g., JZ for Jazz, RB for R&B, RC for Rock, MT for Metal, BL for Blues, PP for Pop, FK for Funk, LT for Latin, RG for Reggae, PK for Punk, TP for Tempo/Metronome).
- Once a genre is selected, press down on the large rotary knob to enter pattern variation selection mode. Rotate the knob again to cycle through the different patterns within that genre.
- Press the knob again to exit pattern variation selection and return to genre selection, or simply start playing.
3.3 Tap Tempo Function
- To set the tempo using Tap Tempo, repeatedly tap the 'TAP' footswitch at your desired speed. The pedal will average your taps to set the tempo.
- The LED next to the 'TAP' footswitch will flash in time with the current tempo.

4. Maintenance
- Keep the pedal clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.

- Avoid dropping the pedal or subjecting it to strong impacts.

- No Sound:
- Ensure the power adapter is correctly connected and functioning.

- Verify that the pedal's main footswitch is engaged (LED illuminated).
- Adjust the VOLUME knob to an audible level.
- Incorrect Tempo:
- Use the SPEED knob to manually adjust the tempo.
- Re-engage the Tap Tempo function by tapping the 'TAP' footswitch multiple times at the desired speed.
- Unexpected Behavior:
- Disconnect and reconnect the power supply to reset the unit.
