2. Safety Information
Important: Always follow basic safety precautions when using this appliance to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury.
- Ensure the freezer is connected to a properly grounded electrical outlet with the correct voltage (115 Volts).
- Do not operate the freezer with a damaged power cord or plug.

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking

3.2 Placement
- Place the freezer on a strong, level surface capable of supporting its weight (approximately 462 pounds when empty, plus contents).

3.3 Caster Installation
The Atosa MCF8703 comes with pre-installed casters for easy mobility. Ensure all casters are securely locked once the unit is in its final position to prevent accidental movement.

3.4 Shelf Installation and Adjustment
The freezer is equipped with 8 pre-installed adjustable shelves. To adjust shelf height:
- Empty the shelf of all contents.
- Lift the shelf slightly and remove it from the shelf clips.
- Reposition the shelf clips to the desired height on the vertical shelf supports. Ensure clips are level.
- Place the shelf back onto the clips, ensuring it is stable.
Each shelf has a loading capacity of 155 lbs. Do not exceed this weight limit.

3.5 Electrical Connection
Connect the freezer to a dedicated 115 Volt, 60 Hz, single-phase grounded electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapter plugs. Ensure the circuit is protected by a fuse or circuit breaker of appropriate amperage.
3.6 Initial Startup
After placement and electrical connection, allow the freezer to stand for at least 2 hours before plugging it in. This allows refrigerants to settle. Once plugged in, allow the unit to operate for 24 hours empty to reach its stable operating temperature before loading with products.
4. Operation
4.1 Temperature Control
The freezer is equipped with a Dixell digital temperature control system. The digital display shows the current internal temperature. To adjust the temperature:
- Press the 'SET' button once. The current set point temperature will flash.
- Use the 'UP' or 'DOWN' arrow buttons to adjust the temperature to your desired setting.
- Press the 'SET' button again to confirm the new setting.
The recommended operating temperature range for this freezer is typically between -10°F to 0°F (-23°C to -18°C).
4.2 Loading Products
Ensure products are loaded evenly on the shelves, respecting the 155 lbs per shelf capacity. Do not block the internal air vents, as this can impede air circulation and cooling efficiency.

4.3 Door Features
- Self-Closing Doors: The glass doors are designed to self-close to maintain internal temperature and energy efficiency.
- Stay-Open Feature: The doors can be held open at a certain angle (e.g., 90 degrees) for easier loading or cleaning.
- Door Lock: A standard safety door lock is integrated for securing contents.
- LED Lighting: The interior display system uses LED lighting for clear visibility of products.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your freezer. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.
5.1 Cleaning the Interior
- Remove all products and shelves.
- Clean the interior surfaces with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry completely.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or harsh chemicals.
5.2 Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe exterior surfaces with a soft cloth and mild detergent. For stainless steel surfaces, wipe with the grain to prevent scratching.
5.3 Condenser Coil Cleaning
The condenser coil, located at the bottom of the unit, should be cleaned regularly (monthly or quarterly depending on environment) to maintain efficiency. A dirty condenser coil can lead to increased energy consumption and reduced cooling performance.
- Unplug the freezer.
- Remove the front grille panel to access the condenser coil.
- Use a stiff brush or vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris from the coil fins.
- Replace the front grille panel.
- Plug the freezer back in.
5.4 Door Gaskets
