1. Introduction

The Giesemann Vervve Plus is a powerful LED module designed to illuminate aquariums. It can function as a standalone light unit or be combined with multiple Vervve One units for larger setups. This module features an integrated Bluetooth radio for control via compatible devices such as computers, tablets, or smartphones. It utilizes modern CREE LEDs and individual reflectors to ensure high light output and vibrant color rendition. Advanced features include programmable weather simulations, moonlight cycles, and sunrise/sunset effects.

3. Setup

3.1. Placement

Position the Vervve Plus LED module securely above your aquarium. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. The module is designed for a water depth of up to 70 cm.

3.2. Power Connection

1. Connect the power supply unit to the Vervve Plus LED module.
2. Insert the power plug into the power supply unit.
3. Plug the power supply into a suitable electrical outlet (100-240 V).

Important: Ensure all connections are secure before powering on the device.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Initial Power On

Once connected to power, the LED module will initiate a self-test. The LEDs will briefly illuminate.

4.2. Bluetooth Control

The Vervve Plus features an integrated Bluetooth radio module for wireless control. To control the unit:

1. Download the official Giesemann control application on your compatible device (Apple OS X / iOS or Android 4.0 and above).
2. Enable Bluetooth on your device.
3. Open the Giesemann application and follow the on-screen instructions to pair with your Vervve Plus module.

4.3. Programmable Features

Through the control application, you can customize various lighting parameters:

• Light Channels: The unit features 6 independent light channels for precise color and intensity control.
• Sunrise & Sunset: Program gradual transitions for natural light cycles.
• Moonlight: Simulate lunar cycles for nocturnal viewing.
• Weather Simulations: Create dynamic lighting effects such as clouds or storms.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Vervve Plus LED module.

• Cleaning: Periodically wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Reflector Check: Ensure the individual reflectors are free from dust or salt creep, which can impede light output.
• Ventilation: Keep the ventilation openings clear of obstructions to maintain proper airflow.

5.1. Important Information Regarding Light Bulbs

For information on recycling and safe disposal of light bulbs, please refer to local regulations and guidelines. In case of breakage or damage to the LED components, exercise caution during cleanup and disposal. Consult relevant safety information for handling broken lamps.
