Setup
Installing Your iPhone
- Separate the top cap from the main body of the Juice Pack case.
- Slide your iPhone into the bottom section of the Juice Pack case, ensuring the Lightning connector on the phone properly aligns and connects with the connector inside the case.
- Once the iPhone is seated, slide the top cap back onto the case until it clicks securely into place.

Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge your mophie Juice Pack case. Connect the included Micro USB cable to the charging port on the bottom of the case and plug the other end into a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The LED indicator lights on the back of the case will illuminate to show charging progress.
Operating the Juice Pack
Activating/Deactivating Charging
To begin charging your iPhone from the Juice Pack case, press and hold the power button on the back of the case for 2 seconds. The LED indicator lights will illuminate, and your iPhone will begin charging. To stop charging, press and hold the power button again for 2 seconds.
LED Indicator Lights
The four LED lights on the back of the Juice Pack case indicate the remaining battery charge and charging status:
- 4 Solid Lights: 75-100% charged
- 3 Solid Lights: 50-74% charged
- 2 Solid Lights: 25-49% charged
- 1 Solid Light: 1-24% charged
- Flashing Lights: Case is charging
Wireless Charging (Charge Force Technology)
The mophie Juice Pack case features Charge Force Technology, making it compatible with Qi-enabled wireless charging systems. To wirelessly charge your iPhone and Juice Pack case:
- Place the Juice Pack case (with your iPhone inside) onto a compatible Qi wireless charging pad or Charge Force accessory.
- Ensure the case is properly aligned with the charging surface. Magnetic Charge Force accessories will automatically align the case for optimal charging.
- Charging will begin automatically. The LED indicator lights on the case will flash to confirm charging is active.

Pass-Through Charge and Sync
When connected to a computer via the Micro USB cable, the Juice Pack case enables pass-through charging and data synchronization. Your iPhone will charge first, followed by the Juice Pack case. Data transfer between your iPhone and computer will also occur as normal.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean your mophie Juice Pack case, gently wipe it with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the case's finish or internal components.
Storage
When storing the Juice Pack case for extended periods, ensure it is partially charged (around 50%) to maintain battery health. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
Case Not Charging iPhone
- Ensure the iPhone is correctly seated in the case and the Lightning connector is fully engaged.
- Verify the Juice Pack case itself has sufficient charge by checking the LED indicators.
- Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to activate charging.
Case Not Recharging
- Check the Micro USB cable and power adapter for damage. Try a different cable or adapter if available.
- Ensure the Micro USB cable is securely connected to both the case and the power source.
- If using wireless charging, ensure the case is properly aligned on a compatible Qi charging pad.
LED Indicators Not Working
- Attempt to charge the case using the Micro USB cable. If the lights still do not illuminate, contact customer support.
