Setup
Initial Printer Setup

Ink Filling Procedure
The ET-2650 utilizes an EcoTank system, requiring ink to be poured into designated tanks. Follow these steps for initial ink charging:
- Carefully open the ink tank cover on the printer.
- Open the cap of the corresponding ink bottle.
- Pour the ink from the bottle into the correct, clearly marked ink tank. Ensure no spillage occurs, as ink can stain.
- Recap the ink tank securely.
- Repeat this process for all four color ink tanks.
- After filling, the printer will initiate an 'ink charging' process to fill its internal plumbing. This prepares the printer for use.
The printer includes enough ink bottles for the initial fill. Always use genuine Epson ink for optimal performance and to prevent damage.
Operating Instructions
Printing
The ET-2650 produces clear and well-formed text. Color prints on plain paper are accurate, while photos printed on glossy photo paper achieve high-quality results. Ensure the correct paper type is selected in your print settings for best output.
Scanning and Copying
To make a photocopy, place the original document on the scanner glass and press the designated copy button on the printer's control panel. For scanning documents to a computer or creating PDF files, follow the instructions provided in the printer's software interface.
Connectivity

Maintenance
Print Head Cleaning

Ink Refilling
When ink levels are low, refill the tanks using genuine Epson replacement ink bottles. The refilling process is similar to the initial ink charging: open the tank cap, pour in the new ink until the desired level is reached, and then recap. After refilling, you must inform the printer via its control panel which tanks have been refilled, as it does not automatically detect ink levels.

Paper Feed Issues
