Operating Instructions

The Eurotech Seating 4x4 Multi Function Chair offers various adjustments to customize your seating experience. Refer to the video below for a visual guide on operating these features.

Video 1: Official Eurotech Seating 4x4 Multi Function Chair operation guide. This video demonstrates how to adjust the seat height, activate forward tilt, adjust back tilt, modify tilt tension, and customize armrest height and width.

1. Seat Height Adjustment

To raise or lower the seat, locate the second paddle from the front on the right side of the chair (when seated). Lift this paddle up. To raise the seat, lift the paddle while standing up slightly. To lower the seat, lift the paddle while remaining seated, allowing your weight to lower the chair. Release the paddle to lock the seat at the desired height.

2. Forward Tilt Activation

To activate the forward tilt, first ensure the chair is in a free-float position. Pull up on the second-to-last paddle (from the front, on the right side). Lean back slightly, then pull the front-most lever (on the right side) backward. Once you are leaning forward to your desired position, push the second-to-last paddle down to lock the tilt.

3. Back Tilt Adjustment

To adjust the back tilt, pull up on the back paddle (located on the right side, towards the rear). Lean back to find a comfortable position, then push the paddle down to lock it. To return the chair to a normal sitting position from a tilted state, pull up on the second-to-last paddle to re-engage free-float. Lean back, then push the front lever forward. Once in the desired upright position, find a comfortable back position by lifting the back paddle and pushing it down to lock.

4. Tilt Tension Adjustment

To adjust the tension of the tilting motion, bend down and locate the large knob under the seat, towards the front. Turn the knob to the left to loosen the tension, allowing for easier tilting. Turn it to the right to increase the tension, requiring more effort to tilt. For easier adjustment, it is recommended to put the chair in the forward tilt position before attempting to adjust the tension.

5. Backrest Height Adjustment

To raise or lower the backrest, lift the backrest slowly. You will hear clicks as it moves through different height positions. Stop at your desired height. The backrest operates on an upward ratchet mechanism. If you reach the top height and wish to lower it, the backrest will drop to its lowest position, allowing you to then raise it again to your preferred height.

6. Armrest Height Adjustment

To raise or lower the armrests, locate the push-button on the side of each armrest support. Push this button in and simultaneously raise or lower the armrest to your desired height. Release the button to lock the armrest in place.

7. Armrest Width Adjustment

To adjust the armrest width, loosen the knob located under the seat, near where the armrests attach. Slide the armrests inward or outward to achieve your desired width. Once the desired width is set, re-tighten the knob to fix the position.
