3. Setup

3.1 Mounting the Dashcam

  1. Clean the area on your windshield where you intend to mount the dashcam. Ensure it is free of dust and grease.
  2. Attach the suction cup mount to the dashcam.
  3. Press the suction cup firmly against the windshield and flip the lever to secure it in place.
  4. Adjust the angle of the dashcam to ensure a clear view of the road ahead.

3.2 Inserting a MicroSD Card

A MicroSD card (not included) is required for recording. The dashcam supports cards up to a certain capacity (refer to specifications).

  1. Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side or bottom of the dashcam.
  2. Insert the MicroSD card with the gold contacts facing the back of the dashcam until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, gently push the card in until it springs out.

3.3 Powering On the Device

  1. Connect the car charger to the dashcam's power input port.
  2. Plug the other end of the car charger into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.

  • Loop Recording: Videos are recorded in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). When the memory card is full, the oldest unlocked file will be overwritten.
  • Motion Detection: When enabled, the dashcam will automatically start recording if it detects movement in front of the lens while the vehicle is parked. This feature requires continuous power supply.
  • Night Vision: The dashcam automatically adjusts its settings to capture clearer video in low-light conditions, enhancing visibility during night driving.

4.3 Menu Navigation

To access and adjust settings:

  1. Press the Menu button to enter the settings interface.
  2. Use the Up/Down navigation buttons to scroll through options.
