Operating Your Watch
Basic Timekeeping
Your Invicta 24214 watch features a precise quartz movement for accurate timekeeping. The main hands display hours, minutes, and seconds. The sub-dials provide additional functions including a 24-hour display, day of the week, and date.
Using the Chronograph Function
The watch is equipped with a chronograph function for measuring elapsed time. The pushers on the side of the case control this function.
- Start/Stop: Press the upper pusher to start the chronograph. Press it again to stop.
- Reset: While the chronograph is stopped, press the lower pusher to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.
Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). This rating makes it suitable for swimming and snorkeling. It is not recommended for diving activities. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in to position 0 before any contact with water to maintain water resistance. Avoid operating the pushers or crown while the watch is wet or submerged.

Care and Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch, wipe the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For water-resistant models, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using chemical cleaners, as they may damage the watch's finish.
Battery Replacement
Your quartz watch is powered by a battery. When the battery life expires, the watch will stop running. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watchmaker or authorized service center to ensure the watch's water resistance and proper function are maintained.
Storage
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keeping it in its original box or a watch case can help protect it from dust and scratches.
Troubleshooting
Watch Not Running
- Check if the crown is fully pushed in to position 0.
- If the watch is a quartz model and has stopped, the battery may need replacement. Consult a professional watch technician.
Incorrect Time or Date
- Refer to the "Setting the Time" and "Setting the Date and Day" sections to correctly adjust the watch.
- Ensure the crown is securely pushed back into position 0 after setting.
