Maintenance
- Changing the Dust Bag: When the dust bag is full (indicated by reduced suction or a full indicator if present), unplug the vacuum. Release the clips on the motor head, lift the motor head and filter assembly. Carefully remove the full dust bag and dispose of it. Install a new Numatic Hepa-Flo dust bag, ensuring it is correctly seated.
- Filter Maintenance: Regularly check the main filter (located under the motor head) for excessive dirt or damage. Clean by gently tapping or brushing off loose debris. Replace the filter if it is torn or heavily soiled.
- General Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the vacuum cleaner with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembly and storage.
Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into the outlet and the vacuum. Ensure the ON/OFF switch is pressed. Check the circuit breaker.
- Loss of Suction: Check if the dust bag is full and needs replacing. Inspect the hose, wands, and tools for blockages. Ensure all connections are secure. Check the main filter for clogging.
- Unusual Noise: Turn off and unplug the vacuum. Check for any foreign objects caught in the brush bar (if applicable) or hose.
