What's in the Box

Upon opening the package, ensure all the following items are present:

Setup

  1. Charging the Device: Before first use, fully charge the MiVue M560 using the provided waterproof USB charging cable. Connect the cable to the camera and a compatible USB power source. The charging indicator will show the charging status.
  2. Inserting a MicroSD Card: The device requires a MicroSD card (not included) for recording. Open the MicroSD card slot cover, insert a high-speed MicroSD card (Class 10 or higher, up to 128GB recommended) with the contacts facing down, and close the cover securely.
  3. Mounting the Camera: Use the GoPro-compatible helmet mount to securely attach the camera to your helmet or another suitable location on your vehicle. Ensure the camera has a clear, unobstructed view of the road ahead. Adjust the angle for optimal recording.
  4. Powering On/Off: Press and hold the power button to turn the device on or off.
  5. Initial Settings: Upon first power-on, you may need to set the date, time, and other preferences. Refer to the Quick Start Guide for detailed instructions on navigating the menu.

Operating Instructions

  1. Automatic Recording: Once powered on and a MicroSD card is inserted, the MiVue M560 will automatically begin recording. Video files are typically saved in segments.
  2. Manual Recording/Event Recording: The device may feature a button for manual event recording, which saves a protected video segment that will not be overwritten. Consult your Quick Start Guide for specific button functions.
  3. Loop Recording: The dashcam uses loop recording, meaning when the MicroSD card is full, the oldest unprotected files will be overwritten by new recordings.
  4. Viewing Recordings: To view recorded videos, remove the MicroSD card from the device and insert it into a computer using a card reader. Alternatively, some models may allow direct connection to a computer via USB.
  5. Settings Adjustment: Access the device's menu to adjust settings such as video resolution (1080p HD is supported), exposure, date/time, and G-sensor sensitivity.
