2. Important Safety Information

Controls and Ports:
- Power Button: Turns the speaker on or off.
- Volume Knob: Adjusts the master volume level.
- Play/Pause Button: Controls audio playback in Bluetooth mode.
- Track Skip Buttons: Skips to the next or previous track in Bluetooth mode.
- Mode Button: Switches between Bluetooth, FM Radio, AUX, and USB input modes.
- FM Tuning Buttons: For scanning and selecting FM radio stations.
- USB Port: For USB audio playback or charging external devices.

5. Setup
5.1 Charging the Speaker
- Connect the provided power adapter to the charging port on the speaker.
- Plug the other end of the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- The charging indicator light will illuminate. Allow approximately 3-4 hours for a full charge.
- Once fully charged, the indicator light may change color or turn off. Disconnect the charger.
Note: For optimal battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use.
5.2 Powering On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power Button until the indicator light illuminates and you hear an audible prompt.
- To power off, press and hold the Power Button again until the indicator light turns off.
5.3 Bluetooth Pairing
There are two methods for connecting your device via Bluetooth:
Method 1: NFC (Near Field Communication) Pairing
If your device supports NFC, you can pair quickly:
- Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth mode.
- Enable NFC on your smartphone or tablet.
- Tap your NFC-enabled device gently against the NFC area on the speaker.
- Confirm the pairing request on your device. The speaker will indicate a successful connection.
Method 2: Manual Bluetooth Pairing
- Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode if no device is connected, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth indicator light. If not, press the Mode Button to switch to Bluetooth mode.
- On your audio device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "Monster Nomad" from the list of found devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator light will become solid, and you will hear a confirmation sound.
5.4 Connecting via AUX Input
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX IN port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external audio device.
- Press the Mode Button on the speaker until AUX mode is selected.
- Play audio from your external device.
5.5 Connecting via USB Input
- Insert a USB flash drive containing audio files into the USB port on the speaker.
- Press the Mode Button on the speaker until USB mode is selected.
- The speaker will automatically begin playing audio files from the USB drive.
6. Operating the Speaker
6.1 Audio Playback (Bluetooth/USB)
- Volume Control: Rotate the Volume Knob clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease.
- Play/Pause: Press the Play/Pause Button to pause playback, press again to resume.
- Next Track: Press the Next Track Button to skip to the next song.
- Previous Track: Press the Previous Track Button to go to the beginning of the current song, or press again to go to the previous song.
6.2 FM Radio Operation
- Press the Mode Button until FM Radio mode is selected.
- To auto-scan and save stations, press and hold the Play/Pause Button. The speaker will scan for available stations and save them as presets.
- Use the Track Skip Buttons to navigate through the saved FM radio presets.
- Adjust the volume using the Volume Knob.
6.3 Using Microphone/Guitar Input
If your model includes a MIC/GUITAR input:
- Connect your microphone or guitar to the designated input port.
- Adjust the input volume using the dedicated MIC/GUITAR volume knob (if available) or the main volume knob.
- Ensure the speaker is in an appropriate mode (e.g., Bluetooth or AUX) if you wish to mix the input with other audio sources.
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning
- Always power off the speaker and disconnect it from the power source before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the speaker.
