Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Plug the steam cleaner into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V). The indicator light will illuminate, signaling that the unit is heating.
  2. Heating Time: Allow approximately 2.5 minutes for the water to heat up and steam to generate. The indicator light may turn off or change color once ready, depending on the model.
  3. Steam Release: Press and hold the steam trigger to release steam. For continuous steam, some models may have a lock button on the trigger.
  4. Cleaning:
    • Direct the steam nozzle or attached accessory towards the surface to be cleaned.
    • Move the cleaner slowly over the surface, allowing the steam to penetrate and loosen dirt.
    • Wipe away loosened dirt and moisture with a clean cloth as you go.
    • For stubborn stains, hold the steam over the area for a few seconds before wiping.
  5. Refilling: If the steam output decreases significantly or stops, the water tank may be empty. Unplug the unit, allow it to cool down completely (at least 10-15 minutes), and then carefully refill as per the "Filling the Water Tank" instructions.
  6. Finishing: When cleaning is complete, release the steam trigger, unplug the appliance, and allow it to cool down before storing.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your steam cleaner.

  1. Emptying the Water Tank: After each use, or before long-term storage, ensure the unit is cool and unplugged. Carefully unscrew the safety cap and empty any remaining water from the tank.
  2. Cleaning Accessories: Wash removable accessories with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air dry completely before storing.
  3. Descaling: Depending on water hardness and frequency of use, mineral deposits may build up inside the tank.
    • For light descaling, fill the tank with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Let it sit for 30 minutes, then empty and rinse thoroughly.
    • For heavy buildup, consult a professional or use a steam cleaner descaling solution following the product's instructions.
  4. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the steam cleaner with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  5. Storage: Store the steam cleaner and its accessories in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children. Ensure the unit is completely dry before storage.
