Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to install and pair your AVANTEK Wireless Doorbell system.

Transmitter Installation:

The transmitter can be installed using either the provided adhesive pad or screws.

  • Using Adhesive Pad: Clean the desired installation area. Peel off one side of the adhesive tape and attach it to the back of the transmitter. Peel off the other side and firmly press the transmitter onto the wall.
  • Using Screws: Mark the desired screw positions on the wall using the transmitter as a template. Drill pilot holes, insert the anchor plugs, and then secure the transmitter with the provided screws.

Receiver Setup:

Simply plug the receivers into any standard electrical outlet within the wireless range of the transmitter.

Pairing the System:

The doorbell system typically comes pre-paired. If re-pairing is needed or for adding additional transmitters/receivers:

  1. Plug the receiver into a power socket.
  2. Hold down the Volume button on the receiver for 3 seconds until the LED flashes.
  3. Press the Push button on the transmitter. The receiver will chime once, and its LED will flash, indicating successful pairing.

Operating Instructions

Selecting Melodies:

Press the Next or Previous buttons located on the side of the receiver to cycle through the 52 available melodies. The receiver will play a preview of each melody as you select it.

Adjusting Volume:

Press the Volume button on the side of the receiver to adjust the sound level. There are 5 adjustable volume levels, with a maximum output of 115 dB.

Memory Function:

The doorbell system is equipped with a memory function that retains your last selected melody and volume level even after a power outage. No need to reconfigure settings.

Silent Mode:

For undisturbed sleep or quiet environments, the doorbell can be set to a silent mode, relying solely on the LED notification.

Maintenance

Transmitter Battery Replacement:

The transmitter uses a lithium battery designed for a maximum lifespan of 3 years. When the battery needs replacement:

  1. Gently pry open the rear transmitter cover using a small flat-head screwdriver or the provided key.
  2. Remove the old battery.
  3. Insert a new CR2 battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Snap the cover back into place.

Troubleshooting

  • No Sound from Receiver: Ensure the receiver is properly plugged into a live power outlet. Check the volume level and increase if necessary.
  • Transmitter Not Activating Receiver: Verify the transmitter battery is not depleted. Re-pair the transmitter and receiver following the pairing instructions in the Setup section. Ensure the transmitter is not installed on metal surfaces, which can interfere with the signal.
  • Short Wireless Range: Obstructions like thick walls or large metal objects can reduce range. Try relocating the receiver to a more central location or closer to the transmitter.
  • Interference with Other Devices: The doorbell is designed to minimize interference. If issues occur, try changing the melody or re-pairing the devices.
