Setup
1. Battery Installation
The Logitech MK850 keyboard requires 2 AAA batteries, and the mouse requires 1 AA battery. Ensure correct polarity when inserting batteries.
- Keyboard: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the keyboard. Open the cover, insert two AAA batteries, and close the cover.
- Mouse: Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the mouse. Open the cover, insert one AA battery, and close the cover.
2. Connecting Your Devices
The MK850 combo supports dual connectivity via the included USB Unifying Receiver (2.4 GHz RF) or Bluetooth Smart technology. You can connect up to three devices simultaneously and switch between them.
A. Using the USB Unifying Receiver (2.4 GHz RF)
- Locate the USB Unifying Receiver, typically stored inside the mouse battery compartment.
- Plug the USB Unifying Receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- The keyboard and mouse should automatically connect. If not, press and hold one of the Easy-Switch keys (1, 2, or 3) on the keyboard or the Easy-Switch button on the mouse for 3 seconds until the LED blinks rapidly, then release. The device will attempt to pair.
B. Using Bluetooth Smart Technology
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone).
- On the keyboard, press and hold one of the Easy-Switch keys (1, 2, or 3) for 3 seconds until the LED above the key blinks rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is in pairing mode.
- On the mouse, press the Easy-Switch button on the underside to select an available channel (1, 2, or 3). Press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the LED blinks rapidly.
- On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Logitech MK850 Keyboard" or "Logitech MK850 Mouse" from the list of available devices to complete the pairing process. Follow any on-screen prompts.

1. Keyboard Features
- Ergonomic Design: The full-size keyboard includes a numpad, well-scooped keys, and an integrated palm rest for comfortable typing.

1. Cleaning

- Distance: Ensure the devices are within the operating range (up to 10 meters) of your computer.

2. Input Lag or Unresponsive Devices
- Battery Level: Low batteries can cause performance issues. Replace them.
- Interference: Wireless interference can affect performance. Try to minimize sources of interference.
- Surface (Mouse): Ensure the mouse is used on a suitable surface. Avoid highly reflective or transparent surfaces.
- Re-pair: Try re-pairing the devices with your computer.
