4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
The GOP18V-28N is a bare tool and requires an 18V Bosch Li-ion battery (sold separately). To install the battery, align it with the battery slot at the rear of the tool and slide it in until it clicks securely into place. To remove, press the release button on the battery and slide it out.

4.2 Blade Attachment
The StarlockPlus interface allows for quick and toolless accessory changes. To attach a blade:
- Ensure the tool is off and the battery is removed.
- Pull the accessory release lever on the tool head.
- Align the Starlock blade with the 3-D interface on the tool.
- Push the blade firmly onto the interface until it snaps into place. The blade can be positioned at various angles.
- Release the lever to secure the blade.
To remove a blade, simply pull the release lever, and the blade will drop out without needing to touch it, which is beneficial if the blade is hot.
