1. Overview
The Anderic RR682M is a replacement remote control designed for use with compatible Onkyo AV receivers. This remote offers pre-programmed functionality for immediate use with specified Onkyo models and can also be programmed to control various other devices, including cable boxes, satellite receivers, DVD players, and audio equipment.
It provides comprehensive control over your Onkyo receiver, including input selection and full menu navigation. Please note that this remote does not support switching between A/B speakers.

2. Setup
2.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Slide the battery cover downwards to open it.
- Insert two (2) AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery cover by sliding it upwards until it clicks into place.

2.2 Initial Use with Onkyo Receivers
The Anderic RR682M remote control is pre-programmed for compatible Onkyo AV receiver models. For these models, no additional programming is required. Simply insert the batteries, and the remote is ready for use.
- Ensure the remote is in the RECEIVER mode before attempting to control your Onkyo receiver. This is typically indicated by a dedicated button or mode selection.
- Point the remote directly at your Onkyo receiver and press the desired function buttons.

3. Operating Instructions
The RR682M remote provides full functionality for your Onkyo AV receiver. Below are common operations:
- Power On/Off: Press the STANDBY/ON button to power the receiver on or off.
- Input Selection: Use the INPUT SELECTOR buttons (e.g., VCR/DVR, CBL/SAT, GAME/TV, TAPE/AMP, CD, DVD, AUX, MULTICH, TUNER, DOCK, TV, VCR, CABLE, SAT) to switch between different audio/video sources connected to your receiver.
- Volume Control: Use the VOL + and VOL - buttons to adjust the master volume.
- Mute: Press the MUTING button to temporarily silence the audio. Press again to restore sound.
- Menu Navigation: Use the directional arrow buttons (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT) and the ENTER button to navigate through your receiver's on-screen menus.
- Return/Exit: The RETURN button typically exits a menu or goes back to the previous screen.
- Listening Mode: Buttons like STEREO, SURROUND allow selection of audio listening modes.
- Playback Controls: Standard playback buttons (PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, FAST FORWARD, REWIND, SKIP) are available for compatible devices.
Important Note: The Anderic RR682M remote control does not support switching between A/B speakers on your Onkyo receiver.
4. Multi-Device Programming
The RR682M is a 6-device universal remote. In addition to controlling your Onkyo receiver, it can be programmed to operate up to five other devices such as TVs, DVD players, VCRs, cable boxes, and satellite receivers. Refer to the included instruction booklet for detailed programming codes and steps for each device type.
4.1 Programming Steps (General)
- Identify the device you wish to program (e.g., TV, DVD, CD, VCR, SAT).
- Press and hold the corresponding device button on the remote (e.g., TV) until the indicator light illuminates.
- Enter the 4-digit programming code for your device's brand from the provided code list.
- If the code is accepted, the indicator light will turn off. Test the remote's functions with your device.
- If the device does not respond, try the next code listed for your brand.
