Setup

Battery Installation

The iProtec TWYST requires Lithium Ion batteries for operation. Follow these steps to install the batteries:

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
  2. Insert the required batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Screw the tail cap back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

Operating Instructions

The iProtec TWYST offers multiple lighting modes and features for various applications.

Power Button and Mode Selection

The main power button is located on the side of the flashlight body. Press the button to cycle through the available modes:

  • Flashlight Mode: When the head is fully retracted, a single press of the power button activates the front-facing flashlight.
  • Work Light Mode: Twist the head of the flashlight counter-clockwise to extend it slightly. This will reveal the COB LED panel for the work light. Press the power button to activate.
  • Lantern Mode: Continue twisting the head counter-clockwise to fully extend it. This will activate the 360-degree COB LED lantern. Press the power button to activate.

Retractable Base Stabilizers

The TWYST features three retractable stabilizers at its base, designed to provide enhanced stability on uneven surfaces. To deploy, gently pull each stabilizer outward from the base until it locks into position. To retract, push them back into the base until they are flush with the body.

Magnetic Base

A powerful magnetic base is integrated into the bottom of the TWYST, allowing for convenient hands-free lighting. Simply attach the magnetic base to any ferrous metal surface.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the flashlight with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Battery Care: If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent potential leakage and corrosion. Store batteries in a cool, dry place.
  • Water Resistance: The TWYST is water-resistant. Avoid submerging the device in water. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately.
