Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge both the remote transmitter and the receiver collar. Connect the splitter charging cable to the AC adapter, then plug the two ends of the splitter cable into the charging ports on the remote and receiver. Plug the AC adapter into a wall outlet. The indicator lights will show charging status.

Pairing the Remote Transmitter and Receiver Collar

To ensure proper communication between the remote and collar, follow these pairing steps:

1. Turn on the remote transmitter by pressing the 'M' button for 2 seconds.
2. Turn on the receiver collar by pressing its power button once. You will hear a beep.
3. Immediately press and hold the receiver's power button again until you hear a second beep. The indicator light will flash.
4. While the receiver's light is flashing, press the 'Y' button on the remote transmitter. The receiver will beep, indicating successful pairing.
5. If you have multiple collars, use the '1/2' button on the remote to switch channels and repeat the pairing process for each additional collar.

Proper fit is crucial for the collar's effectiveness and your dog's comfort. Ensure the contact points are positioned directly against your dog's skin on the underside of their neck. You should be able to fit two fingers snugly between the collar strap and your dog's neck. Adjust the nylon strap as needed.

Select the appropriate contact points based on your dog's coat length. Longer hair may require longer contact points to ensure proper contact with the skin.

Operating the Training Collar

Training Modes

The Petrainer collar offers three distinct training modes:

• Beep Mode: Provides an audible tone. Ideal for initial training and gaining your dog's attention.
• Vibration Mode: Delivers a non-harmful vibration. Useful for dogs that respond well to tactile cues or as a step up from the beep. Intensity is adjustable from 0-100.
• Static Electric Mode: Provides a static stimulation. This mode should be used as a last resort and at the lowest effective level. Intensity is adjustable from 0-100.

To switch between modes, press the 'Mode' button on the remote transmitter. The remote's screen will display the active mode icon.

Adjusting Intensity Levels

For Vibration and Static modes, you can adjust the intensity from 0 to 100 using the up and down arrow buttons on the side of the remote. Always start with the lowest level and gradually increase until your dog responds.

Flashlight Function

The remote transmitter includes a small flashlight. Press the flashlight button (usually indicated by a light bulb icon) to activate it. This can be useful for visibility in low-light conditions.

The receiver collar is rainproof, meaning it can withstand splashes and light rain. However, it is not designed for submersion in water. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed when not charging to maintain water resistance.

Cleaning and Care

Regularly inspect the collar and contact points for any signs of irritation on your dog's skin. Clean the contact points and the area around them with a damp cloth to prevent dirt buildup. Ensure the collar is dry before charging.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Petrainer training collar, consider the following common solutions:

• No Response from Collar:
  • Ensure both the remote and receiver are fully charged.
  • Verify that the remote and receiver are properly paired (refer to the Pairing section).
  • Check that the contact points are making proper skin contact. Adjust the collar or use longer contact points if necessary.
• Weak or Inconsistent Stimulation:
  • Increase the intensity level on the remote.
