3. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your G-Force G4 Multi Charger:

  1. Connect AC Power: Plug the provided AC power cable into the charger's AC input port (located on the rear of the unit) and then into a standard wall outlet (100V).
  2. Identify Battery Type: Determine the type of battery you intend to charge (LiPo, LiFe, LiHV, or NiMH).
  3. Select Battery Type on Charger: Use the "BATT TYPE" push button on the front panel to cycle through the battery types until the LED corresponding to your battery type illuminates.
  4. Select Charging Current: Use the slide switch labeled "充電電流" (Charging Current) to select the desired charging current (1A, 2A, 3A, or 4A). Always refer to your battery's specifications for the recommended charging rate.
  5. Connect Main Charging Cable: Connect the appropriate main charging cable (e.g., Tamiya, Mini, BEC, Deans) to the charger's main output port (red and black banana plugs).
  6. Connect Balance Cable (for Lithium batteries): For LiPo, LiFe, and LiHV batteries, connect the battery's balance lead to the corresponding balance port on the side of the charger. The balance connector type is JST-XH. Ensure the correct cell count port (2S, 3S, or 4S) is used.
