3. Assembly

1. Attach the Blower Tube: Align the blower tube with the outlet on the main housing. Push and twist until it locks securely into place. Ensure it is firmly attached before operation.
2. Insert the Battery: Slide the fully charged 20V Li-ion battery into the battery port on the blower until it clicks into place. Ensure the battery is seated correctly.

4. Battery and Charging

The WORX WG549E.5 uses a 20V Li-ion PowerShare battery. This battery is compatible with other WORX 20V PowerShare tools.

Charging Procedure:

1. Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
2. Slide the battery onto the charger. Ensure proper alignment.
3. The charger indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 60 minutes for a 2000 mAh battery.
4. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

Note: The Li-ion battery has low self-discharge and no memory effect, allowing it to be charged at any time without reducing its lifespan.

5. Operation

Starting the Blower:

1. Ensure the battery is fully charged and securely inserted.
2. Hold the blower firmly with one hand.
3. Press the power switch located on the handle to start the blower.

Operating Tips:

• Use a sweeping motion to gather leaves and debris into piles.
• For stubborn debris, direct the airflow directly at the object.
• Work away from buildings, fences, and other obstacles to avoid blowing debris into unwanted areas.
• The blower is effective for clearing large surfaces such as driveways, patios, and decks.

Stopping the Blower:

• Release the power switch to turn off the blower.
• Always remove the battery when not in use or before performing any maintenance.

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your WORX leaf blower.

• Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the exterior of the blower with a damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
