4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Mounting

The SPT.22 tweeters are designed for Flush Mount installation.

Choose a suitable mounting location in your vehicle, ensuring adequate clearance behind the mounting surface for the tweeter's depth (2.5 inches).
Use the provided template (if included, or measure carefully) to mark the cutout area.
Carefully cut the opening in the mounting surface.
Secure the tweeter into the opening using the supplied mounting hardware. Ensure a snug fit to prevent vibrations.

4.2 Wiring

Proper wiring is crucial for optimal performance and to prevent damage to the tweeters or your audio system.

The SPT.22 tweeters have an impedance of 4 Ohms. Ensure your amplifier or head unit can safely drive a 4-ohm load.
Connect the positive (+) terminal of the tweeter to the positive (+) output of your amplifier or crossover.
