Important Safeguards

- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact customer service for examination, repair, or adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Always attach the plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove the plug from the wall outlet.
- Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
- Never operate the appliance empty.
- Never lift the kettle from the base when the unit is in operation.

Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the countertop. Ensure the power cord is not dangling where it can be pulled or tripped over.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water up to the MAX mark. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
- Connecting to Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable 230V AC electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
- Filling the Kettle: Press the lid release button to open the lid. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of water. Do not fill below the MIN mark or above the MAX mark. Close the lid securely until it locks.
- Placing on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto the power base. The kettle can be placed in any direction on the 360-degree swivel base.
- Switching On: Press the ON/OFF switch downwards. The power indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating.
- Boiling: The kettle will begin to heat the water. Once the water reaches boiling point, the kettle will automatically switch off, and the power indicator light will extinguish.
- Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its base using the cool-touch handle and pour the hot water. Exercise caution as steam may escape from the spout.
- Re-boiling: If the kettle has just boiled, wait a few seconds before pressing the switch again to allow the internal thermostat to reset.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your electric kettle.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Interior Cleaning (Descaling): Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas.
- Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
- Boil the mixture and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy scale.
- Pour out the mixture and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water.
- For stubborn deposits, gently scrub with a non-abrasive sponge.
- Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution designed for electric kettles, following the product's instructions.
- Storage: When not in use, store the kettle in a dry place. The cord winder on the base helps manage the power cord.
