4.2 Mounting Plate Installation
The air curtain is designed for wall-mounted installation above a doorway.
- Remove the mounting plate from the back of the air curtain by unscrewing the bottom screws.
- Position the mounting plate above the doorway, ensuring it is level and centered. The installation position should be at least 2 inches (5cm) from the ceiling to allow for proper air intake.
- Use a stud finder to locate wall studs for secure mounting. Mark the drilling points through the mounting plate.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked positions.
- Securely attach the mounting plate to the wall using appropriate screws and anchors (not included, depending on wall material).

4.3 Air Curtain Mounting
Once the mounting plate is securely installed, you can hang the air curtain unit.
- Carefully lift the air curtain unit and align the top hooks on the back of the unit with the slots on the installed mounting plate.
- Lower the unit onto the plate until it sits firmly.
- Re-insert and tighten the bottom screws to secure the air curtain to the mounting plate.
4.4 Magnetic Switch Installation
The magnetic switch allows the air curtain to turn on automatically when the door opens and off when it closes.
- Locate the dedicated 2-wire connection for the magnetic switch on the air curtain unit. Cut off the connection nut from these wires.
- Connect these two wires to the magnetic switch wires, one-to-one. Either side is acceptable. Secure the connections with electrical tape.
- Place the two-piece magnetic switch closely on the door frame and the door panel. Ensure the magnet is facing the effective surface for proper operation. For double doors, connect the 2 wires to both magnetic switches one-to-one in parallel.
- Test the magnetic switch by opening and closing the door. The air curtain should turn on when the door opens and turn off when the door closes.
