Setup and Installation

Tools Required:

• Jigsaw or appropriate cutting tool for countertop
• Drill with appropriate bits
• Screwdriver set
• Adjustable wrench or pliers
• Sealant (silicone) and caulk gun
• Measuring tape and pencil
• Safety glasses and gloves

Pre-Installation Checks:

1. Verify that the countertop opening matches the sink's dimensions. Refer to the dimension diagram for precise measurements.
2. Ensure adequate space under the sink for plumbing connections and drain assembly.
3. Confirm that the water supply lines are accessible and can be turned off.

Installation Steps:

1. Prepare the Countertop: If not already cut, use the provided template (if available, otherwise measure carefully) to mark and cut the opening in your countertop. Ensure the edges are smooth and clean.
2. Install Faucet and Accessories: Before placing the sink into the countertop, install the faucet, soap dispenser, and any other accessories into their designated holes on the sink. Tighten them securely according to their individual instructions.
3. Install Drain Assemblies: Attach the drain assemblies to both sink bowls. Apply plumber's putty or sealant around the drain opening on the underside of the sink flange before inserting the drain into the sink hole. Secure with the rubber gasket and locking nut from below.
4. Install Overflow: Connect the overflow pipe to the overflow opening in the sink bowl and to the main drain pipe assembly. Ensure all connections are tight and sealed.
5. Apply Sealant: Apply a bead of silicone sealant around the perimeter of the sink opening on the underside of the sink rim. This will create a watertight seal between the sink and the countertop.
6. Position the Sink: Carefully lower the sink into the countertop opening. Ensure it is properly aligned. Press down firmly to engage the sealant.
7. Secure the Sink: From underneath the countertop, attach and tighten the mounting clips (if included) to secure the sink firmly in place. Do not overtighten.
8. Connect Plumbing: Connect the P-trap and waste pipes to the drain assemblies. Connect the faucet supply lines to the hot and cold water valves. Ensure all connections are hand-tightened, then use a wrench for a final snug turn, being careful not to overtighten plastic fittings.
9. Test for Leaks: Turn on the water supply and run water into the sink. Fill both bowls and check all plumbing connections for any leaks. Address any leaks immediately by tightening connections or reapplying sealant if necessary.
