5. Setup and Installation

5.1. General Safety Precautions

• Before beginning any installation, ensure the vehicle's negative battery terminal is disconnected to prevent electrical shorts or damage.
• Always refer to your vehicle's service manual for specific instructions on removing factory components.

5.2. Dash Kit Assembly

1. Review the instructions provided with your dash kit.
2. Break off and remove any tabs from the dash kit that are not required for your specific stereo application.
