Setup

Battery Installation

Your Tamagotchi Gudetama requires two LR44 batteries. These may be pre-installed with a pull tab to prevent discharge. If not, or if replacement is needed:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device.
  2. Using a small Phillips head screwdriver (not included), open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert two new LR44 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

Initial Activation

After battery installation, pull the plastic tab (if present) or press the reset button on the back of the device using a thin object like a pen tip. This will initiate the device and display the initial egg.

Controls
