Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Eurotime Radio-Controlled Wall Clock. This clock is designed for maximum precision and convenience, automatically adjusting to the exact time, including daylight saving and standard time changes, by receiving the DCF77 transmitter signal. Its timeless design with a matte black stainless steel casing and authentic glass cover makes it an ideal addition to any kitchen, dining room, living room, or office.
This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your new clock to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Setup
1. Battery Installation
Your Eurotime wall clock requires one 1.5V AA battery (not included). Follow these steps to install the battery:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert one 1.5V AA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Initial Synchronization
After battery installation, the clock will automatically search for the DCF77 radio signal. This process may take a few minutes. During synchronization, the hands will typically move to the 12 o'clock position and then adjust to the correct time once the signal is received.
- Place the clock near a window or in an area with good radio reception, away from electronic devices that might cause interference.
- Allow the clock sufficient time (up to 24 hours in some cases, especially during initial setup or after a long period of no signal) to receive the signal and set itself.
- Once synchronized, the clock will display the precise time and automatically adjust for daylight saving time changes.
Operating Instructions
Automatic Time Adjustment
The Eurotime radio-controlled wall clock is designed for hassle-free operation. It continuously receives the DCF77 radio signal from Mainflingen, Germany, which ensures atomic-clock precision. This means you will never need to manually set the time, including adjustments for daylight saving time (summer/winter time).
- The clock automatically checks and updates its time daily.
- In case of signal loss, the clock will continue to run on its internal quartz movement and attempt to re-synchronize periodically.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: To clean the clock, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the casing or glass.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the AA battery annually or when the clock hands stop moving or become erratic. Always use a fresh, high-quality 1.5V AA battery. Dispose of used batteries responsibly.
- Placement: Avoid placing the clock in direct sunlight or near extreme temperature changes, as this can affect its performance and longevity.
