Setup
Battery Installation:

Once the reading stabilizes, press the "HOLD" button to freeze the displayed value. This allows you to record the measurement after removing the pins from the material. Press "HOLD" again to release the reading. - Step 5: Power Off
Press the "POWER" button to turn off the device. The meter also features an automatic power-off function after approximately 15 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.


Wood Group Selection
The meter has four pre-programmed wood groups (A, B, C, D) to provide accurate readings for approximately 50 different wood species. Select the group that best matches the material you are testing.
