2. Setup
2.1 Package Contents
Before beginning assembly, please verify that all items listed below are included in your package:

2.2 Monitor Assembly
Carefully remove the monitor and its components from the packaging. Attach the stand base to the stand pillar, then secure the assembled stand to the back of the monitor panel. Ensure all connections are firm. The monitor also supports VESA wall-mount options (100x100mm) for alternative mounting solutions.

2.3 Connecting to Your Computer
The BenQ PD3200U offers multiple connectivity options. Connect your computer to the monitor using one of the provided cables:
- DisplayPort (DP) to mini DisplayPort (mDP) 1.2: For 4K resolution at 60Hz.
- HDMI 2.0: For 4K resolution at 60Hz.
- USB 3.0: Connect the USB upstream cable from your computer to the monitor to enable the integrated USB hub and KVM switch functionality.
Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the monitor and a power outlet.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Power On/Off
Press the power button located on the bottom right bezel of the monitor to turn it on or off. The power indicator light will illuminate when the monitor is active.
3.2 Ergonomic Adjustments
The PD3200U features a highly adjustable stand for optimal viewing comfort:
- Height Adjustment: Raise or lower the monitor to eye level.
- Tilt: Adjust the screen angle vertically to reduce glare.

3.4 Hotkey Puck
The included Hotkey Puck provides quick access to frequently used settings and modes. You can customize its three function buttons to switch between display modes (e.g., sRGB, CAD/CAM, Darkroom), adjust brightness, or control contrast, enhancing workflow efficiency.

3.5 Keyboard Video Mouse (KVM) Switch
The integrated KVM switch allows you to control two different computer systems using a single keyboard, mouse, and the PD3200U monitor. Connect both systems to the monitor's video inputs and the USB upstream ports. This feature is ideal for users who switch between multiple workstations.
3.6 Daisy Chain Functionality
Extend your notebook's screen across several displays using the DisplayPort output for a multiple monitor setup. This allows for an expanded workspace and improved multitasking.
4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Monitor
- Always power off the monitor and unplug the power cord before cleaning.

5.2 Flickering Screen
- Ensure your video cable is properly connected and not damaged. Try a different cable if possible.
- Update your graphics card drivers to the latest version.
- Check the monitor's refresh rate settings in your computer's display settings. Ensure it is set to the recommended value (e.g., 60Hz for 4K UHD).
- If using a KVM switch, ensure all connections are stable and the switch is functioning correctly.
