  1. Unpack Components: Lay out all included components on a clean, flat surface. Ensure all parts listed in Section 2 are present.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Ventilation

The Fal Pro.air 4 tent is designed with ventilation features to minimize condensation. Ensure all vents are open when conditions allow to promote airflow. In rainy or cold weather, balance ventilation with heat retention.

4.2 Entry and Exit

Use the tent's zippered doors for entry and exit. Always zip doors completely closed when not in use to prevent insects, drafts, and moisture from entering.

4.3 Securing the Tent

Always ensure the tent is properly staked and guylined, especially in windy conditions. Adjust guylines as needed to maintain tension and stability. In severe weather, consider adding additional anchors or seeking more sheltered locations.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

After each use, clean your tent. The tent material should be hand washed. Use a mild soap and lukewarm water to gently clean dirty areas. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive scrubbers, which can damage the fabric's waterproof coating.

5.2 Drying

Always ensure the tent is completely dry before packing it away. Storing a damp tent can lead to mildew growth, fabric degradation, and unpleasant odors. Air dry the tent in a shaded, well-ventilated area.

5.3 Storage

Store the tent in its main case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid compressing the tent for extended periods, as this can affect the fabric's loft and waterproof properties.

5.4 Repairs

Minor punctures or tears in the fabric can be repaired using the included repair pipe or a suitable tent repair kit. For significant damage, contact Snow Peak customer support.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Condensation Inside Tent:

Ensure all available vents are open to promote airflow. If conditions are very humid or cold, some condensation is normal. Avoid cooking inside the tent without adequate ventilation.

  • Tent Not Standing Firmly:

Check that all poles are fully inserted into their sleeves and secured. Ensure all pegs are firmly driven into the ground and guylines are taut and properly adjusted.

  • Water Leaking:

Verify that all zippers are fully closed. Inspect the tent fabric for any tears or punctures. Ensure the tent is pitched on level ground to prevent water pooling. The tent features a PU coating for water resistance.

  • Damaged Poles:

Use the included repair pipe to temporarily fix a broken pole section. For permanent repair or replacement, contact Snow Peak customer support.
