Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your Thunder Hollow Criss-Cross Track Set:

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all track pieces, accessories, and the vehicle from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present according to the packaging diagram.
2. Battery Installation: The motorized booster requires 4 D batteries (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the booster unit. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, open the compartment, insert the batteries observing the correct polarity (+/-), and secure the cover.
3. Track Assembly: Connect the track pieces by aligning the connectors and pressing them firmly together until they snap into place. Refer to the diagram on the product packaging for the correct track layout. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent track separation during play.
4. Accessory Placement: Attach any fences, stands, or other decorative elements to their designated slots on the track set.

Operating Instructions

Once the track is assembled and batteries are installed, you can begin play:

1. Power On: Locate the power switch on the motorized booster and slide it to the "ON" position. The booster wheels will begin to spin.
2. Vehicle Placement: Place the included Lightning McQueen vehicle, or other compatible 1:55 scale Cars die-cast vehicles (sold separately), onto the track section leading into the motorized booster.
3. Initiate Racing: Gently push the vehicle forward until its rear wheels engage with the spinning booster wheels. The booster will propel the car around the track.
4. Track Switching: Use the manual switch lever to direct cars between the outer track and the inner criss-cross section. This allows for different racing paths and potential collision points.
5. Breakaway Door Action: Some sections of the track may feature a breakaway door. Send vehicles through this section for dynamic exit or crash effects.
6. Speed Settings: The motorized booster may have multiple speed settings. Adjust the speed as desired for different play experiences. Higher speeds are generally required for heavier die-cast vehicles to complete the full track loop.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the track and vehicles with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse electronic components in water.
• Battery Care: Remove batteries if the toy will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage. Replace all batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type and brand.

Troubleshooting

• Cars not moving or moving slowly:
  • Check battery installation and replace with fresh D batteries if needed.
  • Ensure the power switch on the booster is in the "ON" position.
  • Verify that the vehicle's wheels are making proper contact with the motorized booster.
  • Some heavier die-cast cars may require the higher speed setting on the booster to complete the track.
• Cars getting stuck or derailing:
  • Ensure all track pieces are securely connected and lie flat on a smooth surface.
  • Check for any debris on the track or in the booster mechanism.
  • Confirm that the correct scale (1:55) vehicles are being used. Some larger or smaller vehicles may not function optimally.
• Excessive noise from booster:
