Setup

  1. Unpack: Remove the vacuum sealer and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. Inspect: Check the unit for any visible damage.
  3. Placement: Place the unit on a flat, dry, and stable surface.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The indicator lights will illuminate, indicating the unit is ready for use.

Operating Instructions

General Operation

The NutriChef vacuum sealer is designed for easy, fully automatic operation. The control center is located on the top panel with soft-touch digital buttons and LED indicator lights to guide you through the process.

Vacuum Sealing Process

  1. Prepare the Bag: Place the food item into a vacuum sealer bag, ensuring that the open end of the bag is clean and dry. Leave sufficient space (at least 2-3 inches) between the food and the top edge of the bag.
  2. Position the Bag: Open the lid of the vacuum sealer. Place the open end of the bag into the designated vacuum chamber, ensuring it lies flat over the sealing strip.
  3. Close and Lock: Firmly press down on both sides of the lid until you hear a click, indicating it is securely locked.
  4. Select Settings: Use the 'Mode' button to choose between 'Normal' or 'Gentle' vacuuming, and the 'Food' button to select 'Dry' or 'Moist' based on your food type.
  5. Start Vacuum Seal: Press the 'Vac Seal' button. The unit will automatically vacuum the air from the bag and then seal it.
  6. Release and Remove: Once the process is complete (indicated by the LED lights), press the release buttons on the sides to open the lid and remove your sealed bag.

Two Sealing Modes: Dry & Moist Food

The NutriChef system offers two selectable modes to provide optimal preservation based on the food type:

Sealing Only (No Vacuum)

To seal a bag without vacuuming (e.g., for delicate items like chips or pastries):

  1. Place the open end of the bag into the vacuum chamber.
  2. Close and lock the lid.
  3. Press the 'Seal' button. The unit will create a seal without removing air.
  4. Release and remove the sealed bag.

External Vacuuming with Hose

The included air suction hose and wine stopper cork allow for vacuum sealing compatible containers or wine bottles. Connect the hose to the unit's external vacuum port and to the container/stopper, then press the 'Vac Seal' button to initiate vacuuming.
