What's in the Box

Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the main unit on a stable, flat surface. Position the two main channel speakers on either side of the main unit, ensuring they are at an equal distance for optimal stereo sound. Allow adequate ventilation around the unit.

2. Speaker Connection

Connect the speaker wires from the main unit to the corresponding terminals on the back of each speaker. Ensure correct polarity (positive to positive, negative to negative) for proper sound reproduction. The speaker wires are approximately 46 inches long.

3. Antenna Connection

Connect the supplied AM loop antenna and FM wire antenna to their respective jacks on the rear of the main unit. Extend the FM wire antenna fully for better reception. Position the AM loop antenna away from the main unit to minimize interference.

4. Power Connection

Plug the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet. The unit will enter standby mode.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the POWER button on the main unit or remote control to turn the system on or off.

Adjusting Volume

Rotate the VOLUME knob on the main unit or use the VOLUME +/- buttons on the remote control to adjust the sound level.

CD Playback

  1. Press the CD button to select CD mode.
  2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the main unit to open the disc tray.
  3. Place up to five CDs on the disc tray with the label side facing up.
  4. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray.
  5. Press PLAY/PAUSE to start playback.
  6. Use the SKIP buttons to navigate tracks or the DISC SKIP button to change discs.

The system supports CD-RW, CD-R, WMA, and MP3 playback formats.

Cassette Playback

  1. Press the TAPE button to select Cassette mode.
  2. Open the cassette deck door and insert a cassette tape.
  3. Press PLAY to begin playback.
  4. Use REWIND or FAST FORWARD buttons for navigation.

Bluetooth Connectivity

  1. Press the BLUETOOTH button to enter Bluetooth pairing mode. The display will show "PAIRING".
  2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), search for available devices.
  3. Select "SHARP CD-BH950" from the list.
  4. Once paired, the display will show "CONNECTED". You can now stream audio from your device to the system.

The system is compatible with Apple and Android devices.

AM/FM Radio

  1. Press the TUNER button to select AM or FM mode.
  2. Press the TUNE +/- buttons to manually tune to a station.
  3. Press and hold TUNE +/- to automatically scan for the next available station.
  4. To preset a station, tune to the desired frequency, then press MEMORY followed by a preset number (1-40).

USB Playback

Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the front of the main unit. The system will automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing compatible audio files (e.g., MP3, WMA).
