Maintenance
Cleaning
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a damp, non-abrasive cloth.
- Drip Tray: Remove, empty, and rinse the drip tray and its cover regularly.
- K-Cup Pod Holder: The K-Cup pod holder can be removed and disassembled for cleaning. Wash with warm, soapy water.
- Water Reservoir: Clean the water reservoir periodically with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly.
Descaling
Over time, calcium deposits (scale) can build up in your brewer. Descaling helps maintain optimal performance. The frequency depends on water hardness. Follow the descaling instructions provided in your full Keurig manual or on the Keurig website.
Water Filter Replacement
If your brewer uses a water filter, replace it every 2 months or 60 tank refills for best results. Refer to your water filter kit instructions for replacement.
