Operating Instructions
1. Add Water
Lift the water reservoir lid and pour fresh water into the reservoir. The K-Mini K15 is a single-serve brewer, meaning you add fresh water for each brew. Fill between the MIN and MAX fill lines, corresponding to your desired brew size (6-10 oz).
2. Insert K-Cup Pod
Lift the brewer handle. Place a K-Cup pod into the K-Cup pod holder. Lower the handle completely to close the lid. Do not remove the foil lid from the K-Cup pod.
3. Place Mug & Brew
Place a mug on the drip tray. Press the BREW button. The button will illuminate, and the brewer will begin heating and then dispensing your beverage. The brew process typically takes less than 2 minutes.

4. Enjoy
Once brewing is complete, the BREW button light will turn off. Carefully remove your mug and enjoy your beverage. Lift the handle, remove and discard the used K-Cup pod.
Removable Drip Tray
The drip tray can be removed to accommodate taller travel mugs, up to 5.2 inches in height.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Exterior
Regularly wipe the exterior of your brewer with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Do not immerse the brewer in water or other liquids.
Cleaning the Drip Tray
The drip tray can accumulate drips and spills. Remove the drip tray and its cover, empty any liquid, and clean with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and replace.
Descaling Your Brewer
Mineral deposits can build up in your coffee maker over time, affecting performance. Descale your brewer every 3-6 months, or more frequently if you have hard water. Use a Keurig descaling solution or a vinegar solution (50% white vinegar, 50% water).
- Turn off and unplug the brewer.
- Empty the water reservoir.
- Pour the descaling solution into the reservoir.
- Place a large mug on the drip tray.
- Plug in and turn on the brewer. Perform a rinse brew without a K-Cup pod.
- Repeat the rinse brew process until the reservoir is empty.
- Rinse the reservoir thoroughly and fill with fresh water. Perform several fresh water rinse brews to remove any residual descaling solution.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Brewer not turning on | Not plugged in; power outage; circuit breaker tripped. | Ensure brewer is securely plugged into a grounded outlet. Check power supply. |
| No water dispensing | Water reservoir empty; air in lines; brewer needs descaling. | Fill reservoir with water. Perform a rinse brew. Descale the brewer. |
| Weak coffee | K-Cup pod not suitable for desired strength; brewer needs descaling. | Use a stronger K-Cup pod. Descale the brewer. |
| Coffee grounds in cup | K-Cup pod punctured incorrectly; exit needle clogged. | Ensure K-Cup pod is seated correctly. Clean the exit needle (refer to Keurig support for instructions). |
