1. Unpacking and Inspection:
- Carefully remove the generator from its packaging.

2. Wheel and Handle Assembly:
Attach the wheels and drop-down handles to the generator frame. This process may be easier with two people due to the unit's weight. Ensure all fasteners are securely tightened.

3. Adding Engine Oil:
- Locate the oil fill cap/dipstick.
- Add the recommended engine oil (refer to the oil type and capacity in the Specifications section) until it reaches the full mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
4. Fuel Connection:
- Gasoline: Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline. Do not overfill.
- LPG: Connect an LPG tank to the generator's LPG connection point using a suitable hose and regulator. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.

5. Battery Connection:

Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your Pulsar Dual Fuel Generator.
1. Starting the Generator:
- Fuel Selection: Use the "Switch & Go" lever on the control panel to select either Gasoline or Propane (LPG).
- Choke Lever: If starting a cold engine, move the choke lever to the "Closed" position. For a warm engine, leave it "Open".
- Engine Switch: Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
- Electric Start: Press and hold the electric start button until the engine starts.
- Recoil Start (Backup): If the electric start fails or the battery is low, pull the recoil start handle firmly and smoothly until the engine starts.
- Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the "Open" position.
2. "Switch & Go" Dual Fuel Technology:
The generator's "Switch & Go" feature allows you to seamlessly switch between gasoline and LPG fuel sources even while the generator is running. To switch fuels, simply move the fuel selector lever to the desired fuel type. This can be done without shutting down the generator, providing flexibility during extended power outages.
3. Connecting Electrical Devices:
The generator provides multiple AC outlets (120V and 120V/240V) and a DC 12V 8.3A output for battery charging. Always ensure the total wattage of connected devices does not exceed the generator's rated running wattage.
- For sensitive electronics, it is recommended to use a quality surge protector or inverter-style power strip to protect against power fluctuations.
- Ensure all devices are turned off before plugging them into the generator.
- Never overload the generator.

4. Shutting Down the Generator:
- Disconnect all electrical loads from the generator.
- Allow the generator to run for a few minutes without load to cool down.
- Turn the engine switch to the "OFF" position.
- If storing for an extended period, turn off the fuel valve (for gasoline) or close the LPG tank valve.
