Operating Instructions

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your Pulsar Dual Fuel Generator.

1. Starting the Generator:

  1. Fuel Selection: Use the "Switch & Go" lever on the control panel to select either Gasoline or Propane (LPG).
  2. Choke Lever: If starting a cold engine, move the choke lever to the "Closed" position. For a warm engine, leave it "Open".
  3. Engine Switch: Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
  4. Electric Start: Press and hold the electric start button until the engine starts.
  5. Recoil Start (Backup): If the electric start fails or the battery is low, pull the recoil start handle firmly and smoothly until the engine starts.
  6. Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the "Open" position.

2. "Switch & Go" Dual Fuel Technology:

The generator's "Switch & Go" feature allows you to seamlessly switch between gasoline and LPG fuel sources even while the generator is running. To switch fuels, simply move the fuel selector lever to the desired fuel type. This can be done without shutting down the generator, providing flexibility during extended power outages.

3. Connecting Electrical Devices:

The generator provides multiple AC outlets (120V and 120V/240V) and a DC 12V 8.3A output for battery charging. Always ensure the total wattage of connected devices does not exceed the generator's rated running wattage.

  2. Allow the generator to run for a few minutes without load to cool down.
  3. Turn the engine switch to the "OFF" position.
