mumbi 24279 Outdoor Radio-Controlled Socket Set Instruction Manual

1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the mumbi 24279 Outdoor Radio-Controlled Socket Set. This set provides a convenient way to control outdoor electrical devices remotely. Designed for outdoor use, the sockets are splash-proof (IP44 rated) and suitable for various applications such as garden lighting, pond pumps, or other outdoor appliances up to 1100 Watts. Please read this manual carefully before use to ensure proper installation and safe operation.

2. Safety Instructions

  • Electrical Safety: Always ensure that the total power consumption of connected devices does not exceed 1100 Watts (5A). Overloading can cause damage or fire.
  • Outdoor Use: The sockets are rated IP44, meaning they are protected against splashing water from any direction. They are not designed for submersion in water. Ensure the protective cover is securely closed when not in use or when connecting devices.
  • Grounding: These sockets are designed with a Type C, 2-pin European plug. Ensure compatibility with your local electrical outlets and grounding requirements. If your local outlets require a grounding pin, an appropriate adapter must be used.
  • Interference: Wireless systems can be affected by interference from other 2.4 GHz devices, cordless phones, or microwaves. This may reduce the operating range.
  • Placement: Do not install switches in the immediate vicinity of transformers, as this can cause mutual interference. The range is reduced when the signal must penetrate ceilings or walls.
  • Children: Keep the product out of reach of children.
  • Damage: Do not use the product if it is damaged. Contact customer support for assistance.
