- Slide the wrist strap down the rail of the Joy-Con until it clicks into place.
- Secure the wrist strap around your wrist using the lock mechanism.

2.3 Wireless Pairing
If the Joy-Con (R) is not attached to the console, it can be paired wirelessly:
- From the HOME Menu, select "Controllers" > "Change Grip/Order".
- Press and hold the SYNC Button on the Joy-Con (R) until the player indicator lights begin to flash.
- Once paired, the player indicator light(s) will remain lit.
3. Operating the Joy-Con (R)
The Joy-Con (R) offers multiple ways to play:
- Handheld Mode: Attach the Joy-Con (R) directly to the Nintendo Switch console for portable gaming.
