Introduction

Monopoly Gamer combines the classic property trading game with the exciting world of Nintendo. Players engage with beloved Super Mario characters, each possessing unique powers, to earn points by acquiring properties, collecting coins, and defeating bosses. The objective is to accumulate the highest score by the end of the game.

What's Included

Before starting, ensure all components are present:

• Game board
• 4 Character tokens (Mario, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong)
• 4 Character Cards
• 30 Power Up Die Faces
• Property cards
• Boss cards
• Coins (replacing traditional Monopoly money)
• 1 Number Die
• 1 Special Ability Die

Setup

1. Place the game board on a flat surface.
2. Each player chooses a character token and its corresponding Character Card.
3. Distribute starting coins to each player as specified in the game rules.
4. Shuffle the Property cards and place them face down on their designated spaces on the board.
5. Shuffle the Boss cards and place them face down on their designated space.
6. Place the Number Die and Special Ability Die within reach of all players.

Operating the Game (Gameplay)

Monopoly Gamer introduces several unique mechanics:

• Character Abilities: Each Super Mario character token has unique abilities that can be activated during gameplay. Refer to your Character Card for details.
• Coins: Traditional Monopoly money is replaced with coins. Players collect coins by landing on certain spaces or using character abilities.
• Power-up Die: In addition to the standard number die, a Power-up Die is used to activate special abilities or effects during a player's turn.
• Boss Battles: When a player passes or lands on GO, a Boss Battle is triggered. Players must defeat a Boss by rolling the dice and meeting specific conditions. Defeating Bosses earns points.
• Winning the Game: The game concludes after a set number of Boss Battles (typically 8, as indicated by the Boss cards). The player with the highest total score, combining property values, collected coins, and defeated Boss points, wins.
