2. Important Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions carefully before using the Ariete 1344 Breakfast Station. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.
- Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from edges.
- Do not immerse the base unit, cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
- Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug. Contact authorized service personnel for repairs.
- Avoid touching hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

4. Initial Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the Moka pot and milk frother/kettle with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Do not immerse the main base unit in water.
- Placement: Place the main base unit on a dry, stable, and level surface, away from any heat sources or water. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
5. Operating Instructions
The Ariete 1344 Breakfast Station offers three primary functions: Moka coffee brewing, milk frothing, and water heating.
5.1. Electric Moka Pot Operation
- Fill Water: Unscrew the Moka pot's upper chamber and remove the filter funnel. Fill the lower water chamber with cold water up to the safety valve level.
- Add Coffee: Insert the filter funnel back into the lower chamber. Fill the filter with ground coffee, leveling it gently without pressing.
- Assemble: Screw the upper chamber firmly onto the lower chamber, ensuring a tight seal.
- Place on Base: Place the assembled Moka pot onto the left heating plate of the main base unit.
- Start Brewing: Press the Moka pot button (usually indicated by a coffee cup icon) on the base. The indicator light will illuminate. The Moka pot will automatically shut off once brewing is complete and keep the coffee warm for 30 minutes.

5.2. Milk Frother Operation
- Add Milk: Pour cold milk into the milk frother jug. Do not exceed the maximum fill line indicated inside the jug.
- Place on Base: Place the milk frother jug onto the right heating plate of the main base unit.
- Select Function:
- For hot frothed milk, press the red button (often with a frothing icon).
- For cold frothed milk, press the blue button (often with a snowflake icon).
- Frothing: The frother will automatically stop when the milk reaches the desired consistency and temperature.

5.3. Kettle Function Operation
- Add Water: Pour cold water into the milk frother jug. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Place on Base: Place the jug onto the right heating plate of the main base unit.
- Select Temperature:
- For 80°C water (e.g., for green tea), press the appropriate button (often with a tea cup icon).
- For 100°C boiling water (e.g., for black tea or instant beverages), press the kettle button (often with a boiling water icon).
- Heating: The kettle will automatically turn off once the selected temperature is reached.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your Ariete 1344 Breakfast Station. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Moka Pot: Disassemble the Moka pot. Wash all parts (lower chamber, filter funnel, upper chamber) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Ensure no coffee grounds remain in the filter or valve.
- Milk Frother / Kettle: The interior of the jug has a non-stick surface, making it easy to clean. Wash with warm, soapy water and a soft sponge. Rinse well and dry. Do not immerse the jug's electrical base in water.
- Main Base Unit: Wipe the exterior of the base unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
- Descaling: Depending on water hardness, periodic descaling may be necessary for the Moka pot and kettle. Refer to a suitable descaling solution's instructions for use with coffee makers and kettles.
- Storage: Store the clean and dry appliance in a cool, dry place.
Important: The Moka pot and milk frother/kettle are not dishwasher safe. Hand wash only to prevent damage to electrical components and finishes.
