Setup and Installation
Mounting the Controller

Wiring the Valves
Connect the common wire from your sprinkler valves to the terminal labeled "COM" on the controller. Then, connect each individual valve wire to its corresponding station terminal (1 through 6). For detailed wiring, refer to the diagram below.

Power Connection

Operating Instructions
The Orbit Easy Dial controller features a simple rotary dial and push-button interface for programming. Rotate the dial to select the desired function, then use the +, -, and ENTER buttons to adjust settings.

Setting Date and Time
- Turn the dial to SET CLOCK.
- Use the + and - buttons to adjust the time, then press ENTER to confirm.
- Repeat for setting the date (month, day, year) by turning the dial to SET DATE.
Programming Watering Schedules (Programs A and B)
The controller supports two independent programs (A and B) for flexible scheduling.
- Turn the dial to START TIME. Use +/- to set the desired start time for Program A. Press ENTER. You can set up to 4 start times per program.
- Turn the dial to RUN TIME. Select each station (1-6) using the +/- buttons and set the watering duration for each. Press ENTER after each station.

- To program Program B, press the PROGRAM A-B button to switch to Program B, then repeat steps 1-3.

Manual Watering
To manually water a station or all stations:
- Turn the dial to AUTO.
- Press the MANUAL button. The display will show "ALL STATIONS". Press ENTER to water all stations, or use +/- to select a specific station.
- Use +/- to set the manual run time, then press ENTER to start watering.
- To stop manual watering, press CLEAR.
Rain Delay Function
The rain delay feature allows you to pause your watering schedule for a set period (24, 48, or 72 hours) without losing your programmed settings.
- Turn the dial to AUTO.
- Press the RAIN DELAY button.
- Use the +/- buttons to select the desired delay duration.
- The display will show the remaining delay time. Watering will resume automatically after the delay period.
- To cancel rain delay, press the RAIN DELAY button again until the delay is cleared.
Water Budgeting
Water budgeting allows you to adjust watering durations for all stations in a program by a percentage, useful for seasonal adjustments.
- Turn the dial to BUDGET.
- Use the +/- buttons to adjust the percentage (e.g., 50% for half the programmed time, 120% for 20% more).
- Press ENTER to confirm.
- Return the dial to AUTO for the changes to take effect.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the controller with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Power Supply: Ensure the power adapter is securely connected and not damaged.
