Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials from the kettle and its base. Ensure all components are present and undamaged.
2. First Use Cleaning: Before initial use, fill the kettle with water to the maximum level. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces.
4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Filling the Kettle: Press the lid release button located on the handle to open the lid. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of water, ensuring it is between the minimum (0.5L) and maximum (1.8L) fill lines. Close the lid securely.
2. Placing on Base: Place the kettle firmly onto its 360° cordless power base.
3. Starting the Boil: Press the ON/OFF switch down to the 'ON' position. The blue LED light will illuminate, indicating the kettle is heating.



4. Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically switch off once the water reaches a rolling boil. The blue LED light will extinguish.



5. Serving: Carefully lift the kettle from its base to pour. The cordless design allows for easy serving.
6. Using the Tea Infuser (Optional): If your model includes a tea infuser, attach it to the underside of the lid. Add loose leaf tea to the infuser before closing the lid and boiling water. Remove the infuser after brewing to prevent over-steeping.

Maintenance

Cleaning

• Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
• The removable and washable filter can be detached from the spout for cleaning. Rinse it under running water and reattach once clean.
• Do not immerse the kettle or its power base in water or any other liquid.

Descaling

Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may build up inside your kettle, especially in areas with hard water. This can affect performance and taste. To descale:

1. Fill the kettle with a solution of one part white vinegar and two parts water.
2. Bring the solution to a boil and let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer if the scale is heavy.
3. Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
4. For stubborn deposits, repeat the process or use a commercial descaling solution following its instructions.
