Operating Instructions

Jump Starting a Vehicle

  1. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is turned off and all accessories (lights, radio, etc.) are off.
  2. Connect the red positive (+) clamp of the Telwin Start Plus 4824 to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's discharged battery.
  3. Connect the black negative (-) clamp of the Telwin Start Plus 4824 to a clean, unpainted metal part of the vehicle's engine block or chassis, away from the battery and moving parts. Do not connect directly to the negative terminal of the discharged battery unless specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
  4. Ensure both clamps have a secure connection.
  5. Attempt to start the vehicle. If the vehicle does not start immediately, wait a few minutes before trying again to allow the starter to recover. Do not crank the engine for more than 5 seconds at a time.
  6. Once the vehicle starts, disconnect the black negative (-) clamp first, then disconnect the red positive (+) clamp.
  7. Allow the vehicle's engine to run for some time to recharge its battery.

  • Cleaning: Keep the unit clean and free from dirt, dust, and moisture. Use a dry cloth to wipe down the casing. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Storage: Store the unit in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the clamps are properly stored in their designated compartment to prevent accidental short circuits.
