Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the rotisserie and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash all removable parts (spit, forks, skewers, fat collection tray) in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely. Wipe the interior and exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
- Assembly: Place the fat collection tray at the bottom of the main unit. Insert the vertical rotating spit into its designated slot, ensuring it is securely seated. Attach the two supports to the spit as needed for your food.
- Placement: Position the appliance on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is sufficient space (at least 10-15 cm) around the appliance for proper ventilation. Do not place it near flammable materials or under overhead cabinets.
Operating Instructions
- Prepare Food: Prepare your meat (e.g., chicken, kebab meat, gyros) or vegetables. The appliance has a maximum meat capacity of 5 kg. For best results, ensure the food is evenly distributed and secured.
- Load Food: For larger pieces of meat, slide them onto the vertical spit and secure them with the forks. For smaller items or individual portions, use the 7 provided skewers.
- Insert Spit/Skewers: Carefully place the loaded spit or skewers into the rotisserie. Ensure the spit engages with the rotating mechanism at the bottom.
- Close Door: Slide the glass door closed. Ensure it is fully closed before operation.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded 220V, 50Hz electrical outlet. The power indicator light will illuminate.
- Set Timer: Turn the timer control knob clockwise to your desired cooking time, up to a maximum of 60 minutes. The rotisserie will begin to rotate, and the heating element will activate.
- Cooking Process: The 360° rotation ensures even cooking and browning. The vertical design allows excess fat to drip into the collection tray, promoting healthier cooking.
- Monitor Cooking: You can monitor the cooking progress through the glass door. The internal blue LED lighting provides visibility.
- Completion: Once the set time has elapsed, the timer will ring, and the appliance will automatically switch off. If you need to stop cooking earlier, turn the timer knob to the "OFF" position.
- Remove Food: Carefully open the glass door. Using oven mitts, remove the hot spit or skewers with the cooked food. Be cautious of hot surfaces and dripping fat.
- Serve: Carve or remove the food from the spit/skewers and serve immediately.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygienic operation of your rotisserie.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
- Disassemble: Remove the vertical spit, forks, skewers, and the fat collection tray.
- Wash Removable Parts: All stainless steel accessories (spit, forks, skewers) and the fat collection tray are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them by hand in warm soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
- Clean Main Unit: Wipe the interior and exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains on the glass door, use a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, or immerse the main unit in water.
- Heating Element: Do not attempt to clean the heating element directly. Any food residue on the heating element will typically burn off during subsequent use.
